Introduction: The Radiology Department was established in 1976 (1355 in the Solar Hijri calendar) and has expanded over the years, with various sections inaugurated at different times, as detailed below:
- X-ray Section: Established in 1976 (1355 SH), performing daily examinations since its inception.
- Mammography Section: Established in 2009 (1388 SH), conducting regular mammography exams.
- Ultrasound Section: Established in 1998 (1377 SH), providing daily ultrasound services.
- CT Scan Section: Established in 2014 (1393 SH), operational with daily CT scans.
- MRI Section: Established in 2007 (1386 SH), although currently inactive due to machine malfunction.
